Ruffle Shrug, Double Layer - Cream, Gold, and Dark Red
Ruffle shrugs make an excellent jacket alternative on warm faire days, when you want the look of a jacket without the extra weight. They are constructed from wide strips of fabric pleated onto a polypro belting band that closes in the back with a pair of D rings, making them quite adjustable.
This 2 layer version features a pleated base layer of cream, gold, and red/burgundy Turkish chenille fabric topped with a ruffled layer of burgundy taffeta, all edged in dark red thread. The belting used is rusty red, and it closes with brass D rings. These are one size fits most, with a belt that measures 67" long. The ruffles cover 30" and are 7" wide.
To check sizing, measure around your neck and back where it would sit when worn. The ruffle coverage measurement should give you a good idea of where the ruffles will fit on you.
